Computer Classes that will be offered in 2014/15.  Watch for Signup Sheets in Friendship Hall across from the Mail Room:

The Computer Group will hold Open Help Sessions on Wednesdays from 10-Noon in Activity Room 3.  These sessions are designed to help with specific issues that you are having with your computer or a computer program.  They are not intended to teach a whole class but we may be able to get you jump-started or back in business.  These sessions have been very popular and the group is glad that we have been able to be of service to our residents.  It is quite rewarding to us as well.

HELP WANTED!!

We would welcome some new members to the Computer Group as there is more than enough to do for quite a few more of us.  We are looking for people who could help in any of the following areas:
  •  Open Help Session Advisors (see above)
  • Demonstrators who can show others what they have learned to do with your iPad, iPod, Kindle, Nook or any new phone.
  • Classroom instructors that share their expertise on any computer software or program (Examples:  Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Word, Excel, Power Point, Open Office, Shutterfly/Snapfish (or other online scrapbooking programs) or on  iPhones, iPads, iPods, Kindles, Nooks, Androids, Smart Phones/tablets, Facebook, Photoshop (advanced students), or Photo Editing (beginners).  Note:  If you are interested in instructing but don't want to come up with the classroom materials that you might need, we have several classes that have materials ready that you could use as is or revise to your liking.
